The island of Kythros is a place of quiet waves and whispering olive trees, where fishermen mend their nets and the gods seem far away. But for Nikias, a young man with storms in his veins and a destiny he does not yet know, this peaceful life is about to shatter. Nikias wakes in his small wooden shack, the scent of salt and hearth-smoke lingering in the air. The fire has burned low, and the wind howls outside like a restless spirit. His mother, Lysandra, is gone—her body laid to rest beneath the old fig tree where she once told him stories of heroes and forgotten wars. All that remains is a letter, sealed with wax and placed beside her favorite seashell. The moment Nikias opens it, his world—and the fate of Olympus—will change forever.
